This is a new Jazz Blues interpretation of “Lamplight” by Korean group Young Sound. Young Sound was one of Korea’s notable group-sound bands of the 1970s, remembered for songs including “Lamplight” and “Halo.” “Lamplight,” written by Kang Dong-gil and composed by Ahn Chi-haeng, carries a nostalgic mood of loneliness, memories, and longing. This cover preserves the emotional atmosphere of the song while reimagining it with a deep and soulful Jazz Blues sound.
