As for how the track was made, I first played a rough piano performance myself without using a click track. I also didn’t use quantization to automatically correct the timing, so the natural timing of my original performance was carried directly into the AI-generated arrangement. Because of this, the drums drag slightly at the beginning, but I actually liked it that way. It gives the track a more human feel, so I decided to leave it as it is. There is no dramatic story behind the song. It is simply about that unexpected moment when you suddenly remember someone you once loved, or a time in your life that you can never return to. “It’s not that you forgot.
