Surface Tension. Every shot in this film flies just above the water: rivers, lakes and open sea, close enough to feel the surface hold. It starts on a still lake and follows the water downstream, through river channels and under bridges, out to the coast past sea stacks and breaking waves, slows down to 100fps over a calm river, then races back across the water and ends on the sea at sunset. Each clip was checked frame by frame so the camera stays over the water and keeps moving from start to finish.
